Hawaiian Electric Company’s 2016 High School Summer Internship Program is set for June 13-24, 2016.
The Summer Internship Program provides valuable hands-on work experience in the electrical industry, and helps students understand the connection between school, work, and achieving their goals. Students receive a $500 stipend for completion of the 2-week program (10 working days), and will also be given mandatory personal protection equipment of which they may keep.
There are four positions open in the following departments:
• Safety (1 position)
• Electrical & Welding (1 position)
• Security (1 position)
• Fleet Division (1 position)
