Gates Millennium Scholarship 2016 Application open 8/1/15 to 1/13/16
The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program, funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was established in 1999 to provide outstanding African American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian Pacific Islander American**, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline area of interest. Continuing Gates Millennium Scholars may request funding for a graduate degree program in one of the following discipline areas: computer science, education, engineering, library science, mathematics, public health or science. Students are eligible to be considered for a GMS scholarship if they meet all of the following criteria:

Here is what you have to do: 1.Take a picture of an idea you believe provides a solution and positively impacts the community. 2.Share and explain your idea by simply using #HPUBiz4Good on a social media channel such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, then go to www.hpu.edu/HPUbiz4good to register for the January 16 workshop. By sharing a picture of your idea and why it matters you will earn a place at the HPU Biz 4 Good Workshop hosted by the HPU College of Business. The 1/16 workshop will give you the tools to transform your ideas into action. Up to 10 participants will receive full 4-year tuition scholarships to HPU.
