The Gromet Foundation Scholars Program awards grant aid of $2,000 for unmet need annually for students attending Hawaii universities and $5,000 in grant aid annually for unmet need for students attending mainland universities and is renewable throughout 4 years of undergraduate education. Students who are eligible to apply must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement (3.8 GPA or higher), and planning to attend a 4-year college. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. The Hana LIma Scholarship is a need-based vocational educational scholarship with preference given to non-traditional students: single parents, disabled (meets ADA definition), houseless, sole-income providers, previously incarcerated and wards of the court.
